On December 11, 12, 13 2009, Mahesan Kandaiya – President PIMD, and members of the PIMD Team met with Executives from the Provincial Departments of Education for the Northern and Eastern Provinces for a detailed briefing on the Lotus English Literacy Program. Aareement was reached to commence a pilot in six schools – 3 in each province. The next step is to agree an MOU with the Ministry of Education in Colombo.
