Dr. Mahesan Kandaiya was the founder and President of PIMD from its start in 2004 until his passing in January 2019. In March 2019, one of the first and most successful Lotus Program Schools, Al-Madina Vid., paid tribute to his work and his committment to helping children in rural and remote village schools.
