In response to requests from teachers we have developed a library of ebooks that teachers can use for reading lessons. These ebooks follow the same thematic sequence as the Grades 3 and 4 Government English syllabus so that can be used both for reading instruction and to teach vocabulary and structures from the syllabus. The books have been authored by staff of IBM Sri Lanka in memory of PIMD’s founder, the late Dr. Mahesan Kandaiya, who held a senior role at IBM Sri Lanka in his early career. The illustrations for the books are by Mrs Chandani Muthuwewa, a Kandyan artist. The library and books are available free of charge to any teacher.
