Once again we conducted our annual review of the PIMD Lotus Program in Sri Lanka in January 2014. We visited all six schools and it was a very worthwhile trip. we were pleased to see that the schools which have struggled from the start had made significant progress and this was very heartening. This shortshort 3 min video was taken at Al-Madina school in the Eastern Province. On the day we visited they held a one hour concert to welcome the new Grade 1 students and their parents. The concert featured the PIMD Lotus program. It was MC’ed by the children and all items were introduced first in English and then in the mother tongue. The excerpt shown here was a short play they made to promote the Lotus Program and English to the new parents. You will enjoy it!
